આતિથ્ય — A Family of Tables
A hospitality company building a family of food brands — established and emerging, Indian and international — under one roof of exceptional service, vibrant ambiance, and the conviction that hospitality is, before anything else, hospitality.
The Idea
SMSR Hospitality LLP was founded on a simple thesis: that some of the best food brands in India are too small to scale alone, and some of the largest need fresh ground to grow on. A hospitality umbrella, run with care, can give both a place to thrive — established names lend their gravity to the new, and emerging brands keep the menu honest.
The leadership team is Sanjay Raval's son Siddharth Raval and daughter-in-law Ayushi Raval, alongside Ravi and Hetal Patel. Sanjay Raval is the mentor — bringing the patience, the network and the discipline of a builder who has done this for three decades. Architect Hiren Patel (HPA) shapes the spaces.
The Flagship
Designed by one of India's most celebrated architects, Hiren Patel (HPA), the Ahmedabad flagship is built as a single architectural statement — a 16-foot clear-height interior threaded with hanging green plants, a transparent kitchen that lets the diner watch the cook, and lush green outdoor zones that make a meal feel like a small holiday.
What We Build Around
SMSR's goal isn't to be the biggest hospitality group in the city; it is to be the most carefully run. The principles below are what every brand under the roof is judged against — by the founders, and by the customer.
Exceptional service and a memorable visit, every visit — so that the second visit is something the customer chooses, not something we have to ask for.
Continuous innovation in offerings, with quality held as a non-negotiable floor — not a marketing claim.
Established brands lend their gravity to emerging ones; emerging brands keep the menu honest. Both gain by sharing a roof.
A venue isn't only for food — it is for music, conversation, comedy, and the small social rituals a city is built from.
Investing in the team — residence, medical, training — because hospitality is, before anything else, the people who serve it.
A wide range of cuisines under one umbrella — Italian, Asian, Indian, bakehouse, coffee — so the family of brands feels like a family.
Authentic Italian · Specialty Bakehouse · Coffee
The flagship — an authentic Italian kitchen with a working bakehouse and a coffee programme that has quietly become one of the city's reasons to arrive early. The menu is honest, the kitchen is open, and the room somehow makes you slow down even on a weekday.

Bowls · Coffee · The Outdoor Breakfast
An extension of a beloved Surat brand, brought home to Ahmedabad. A bowl concept built around great coffee, with an outdoor breakfast experience that has become a city ritual — the kind of place a Sunday actually wants you to be at.

A community organically built
A Sunday-morning run, followed by a fresh brew. No membership, no fee, no registration form — just a recurring meeting of people who like the city at 6 a.m. better than they like it at 6 p.m. Started by the regulars; held together by them.
Asian · Indian · 35,000 sq ft
The largest and most ambitious of the three — a 35,000 sq ft destination restaurant being built from the ground up, again with HPA, to host both Asian and Indian cuisines under one roof. Designed to become a landmark rather than just an address.

Leadership
SMSR Hospitality is run by a small, family-rooted team — a generation of builders mentored by Sanjay Raval, with the discipline of operators who have already built things outside hospitality before turning to the kitchen.
A B.Sc. in Chemistry (1987) and an L.L.B. (2011) — followed by careers in diamonds, real estate and entertainment (where he produced Vitamin She). For SMSR he is the mentor: bringing experience, motivation, and the stability a young venture needs to find its feet.
Sanjay's son. Eight years of real estate experience in Palanpur, with three completed projects under his belt. Manages all operations and finance for the company — fitness, food and finance being his forte, each one informing the others.
A keen eye for detail from her diamond-jewellery brand transfers seamlessly into hospitality — operational efficiency, an instinct for luxury and ambiance, and the strategic vision to keep the portfolio coherent as it grows.
Long-standing partners in the venture, bringing complementary expertise to the leadership table — the steady hands that round out a family-led operating team and keep the company close to its values.
A Room People Come To
The flagship has hosted Mr. Gautam Adani and family, Ashneer Grover from Shark Tank, and a long list of the city's celebrated patrons. It also regularly programmes live music, stand-up comedy and private celebrations — ensuring that the room is, on most nights, somewhere you'd quite like to be.
The pillar inside the operation is its 100-strong staff, looked after with on-site residence and medical facilities — a quiet investment in the team that is the real reason a hospitality business can ever feel like hospitality.
SMSR Hospitality is actively adding new brands to the family. For collaborations, partnerships and brand enquiries, the team can be reached through the contact page on the main site.
